Fortunately for residents, elevations of 900-1200 feet ensure a consistent breeze flows throughout the live oaks dotting the landscape. Cypress-lined Cibolo Creek flows through downtown Boerne and is lined with hiking trails frequented by local ducks and ducklings. The back roads are particularly colorful during the spring months when the wildflowers are blooming.
